Tuesday july 23: Tina frundt

Tina Frundt is a leading figure in the crusade to help children sexually exploited for commercial purposes. Ms. Frundt herself a survivor of domestic sex trafficking; now dedicates her life to helping women and children heal from domestic sex trafficking and commercial sex exploitation. Since founding Courtney’s House in August 2008, Tina and her organization have helped more than 500 victims escapes from being trafficked and find a new life. She also trains law enforcement and other non profit groups to help and provide resources to victims.

Mike Domitrz, Author, Leading Authority, Educator, Expert, and Certified Speaking Professional, is the Founder of The Center for Respect, Inc, formerly known as the Date Safe Project. He has devoted his life to the mission of The Date Safe Project: to provide parents, educators, middle schools, high schools, colleges, university campuses, military installations and corporations the SKILLS for Creating a Culture of RESPECT – for reducing sexual harassment and sexual assault. 

thursday july 25: Victim tribute

As part of a long standing tradition, NOVA’s Annual Training Event concludes with a unique Victim Tribute Panel which honors all victims and survivors of crime and crisis.  Each speaker will share their powerful story and how they have use their experience to help others and inspire change.
