Gen Z Summer Peer Advocate Crew (PAC) Academy

BLOOM365’s 3-Day Gen Z Peer Advocate Academy prepares teens to lead and facilitate peer to peer advocacy and awareness campaigns throughout the year. Teens from across the U.S. are coming together in Phoenix, Arizona to develop, refine, practice and share ideas and solutions to prevent domestic violence, sexual violence and teen dating violence at the root causes.

Who Can Attend?

The bloom365 Peer Advocate Academy will bring together driven and creative teens from across the country for a fun-filled few days of learning, storytelling, idea sharing and developing peer to peer advocacy campaigns. This Academy is designed for “Gen Z” teens ages 13-18 who are interested in preventing teen dating abuse and sexual violence and promoting safe and healthy relationships, peer to peer.

What Are We Offering?

Think “Bring Your Child to Work Day” but on a National Conference scale. Do you have a teen in your life, be it a nephew, daughter, godchild, etc., who has shown interest in the work you do, has a budding passion for advocacy, or loves an opportunity to meet new people like them? Have them join you in Phoenix, Arizona for the 2019 NOVA Conference! In the same way you can expect to engage in workshops, network with peers, and develop greater skills, teens will participate in many of the same kinds of activities.

Teens who successfully complete the NOVA sponsored Teen Track on Wednesday, July 24th, will be certified as a bloom365 Awareness Ambassador. Teens who choose to register for all three-days of the Academy will be certified as a bloom365 Peer Advocate Crew (PAC) leader and are eligible to apply for a position on the new National Teen Advisory Board.

When?

Teens have the option to opt into either the full three-day Academy from Monday, July 22nd – Wednesday, July 24th OR just the one-day NOVA Conference Teen Track on Wednesday, July 24th. The Academy will run from 9AM – 5PM on all three days.

Teens who successfully complete the NOVA sponsored Teen Track on Wednesday, July 24th, will be certified as a bloom365 Awareness Ambassador.
