The Hotel

All institute activities will take place at Galt House Hotel and Suites. The Galt House, Louisville's only downtown waterfront hotel, is a name long associated with gracious hospitality and Southern style. The largest hotel in Kentucky, the Galt House features 1,300 newly renovated rooms and suites, three restaurants, two lounges, complimentary Wi-Fi in guest rooms and common areas (excluding exhibit hall and conference rooms where if available Wi-Fi fees will apply), Club 360 rooftop fitness center, and numerous specialty shops.

All institute attendees are invited to stay at the Galt House. Room rates are $94 single occupancy per night and $104 for double occupancy, plus applicable taxes. Suites are available for an additional $20 per night.

Getting There

The Galt House offers round-trip airport transportation with your reservation via Sandollar Limousine. Visit www.sandollarlimo.com to make a reservation. Cost is $10 each way and can be attached to room billing.

Visiting Louisville

Within a mile of the Galt House, you will find the Louisville Ballet, the Louisville Orchestra, Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Muhammad Ali Center, Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory, Louisville Slugger Field and Bats Stadium and many other tourist attractions. The Louisville Zoo, Six Flags, Oxmoor Center and The Mall of St. Matthews are just a ten-minute drive.

Getting around downtown Louisville is easy. The Toonerville Trolley covers a large area and gives easy access to many local attractions with the convenience of boarding in front of the hotel. Cost is 50¢ to ride.
