NOVA Crisis Responders Mobilizing to Aid Hurricane Katrina Survivors

NOVA crisis response teams responded to Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma like many others in times past. NOVA crisis response volunteers from many of our state and local teams provided services to to help victims, survivors and disaster relief workers to understand and cope with the emotional and psychological pain by offering crisis intervention, emotional support and spiritual care.

If you are not directly affected by the storm, but want to help, please make a donation to NOVA to help our teams respond. Our highly trained volunteers don't charge anything for providing early psychological intervention services, but getting to disaster sites costs money. Your donation will help cover the expenses of travel, food and lodging for our team members so they can do their jobs. We need your help. You can donate by calling 800-TRY-NOVA or by clicking here.
