This plenary session will focus on law enforcement efforts to stop child abuse and rape in the context of polygamy. All of this is done under the name of religion by some polygamous groups in Utah and Arizona and Texas and other places. You will also hear about the damaging nature of this abuse from a young woman who was forced to live through it. Her inspiring story exposes the victimization of young girls like her and implores law enforcement to stop it.

This plenary session will focus on the crime of identity theft, providing a basic awareness of how the crime is perpetrated and what resources are available to assist victims.
