Former US Attorney Diane J. Humetewa
Diane J. HumetewaMs. Humetewa started at the U.S. Attorney's Office in 1986 as one of the first victim-witness advocates in the federal criminal justice system and helped develop a victim advocacy model that was replicated nationally. She left the office to attend law school at Arizona State University, graduating in 1993. Before rejoining the U.S. Attorney's Office in 1996 as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney then an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Ms. Humetewa was counsel to Senator John McCain, U. S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs and in the U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Tribal Justice.

Ms. Humetewa received the Executive Office of United States Attorneys' Director's Award in 1999 for Superior Performance by an Assistant U. S. Attorney. She served as an ad hoc member of the U.S. Sentencing Commission, Native American Subcommittee in 2003.

The Honorable Collene Campbell
Collene CampbellSadly, when people hear the name Collene Campbell, they often think of a crime victim, sadness, murders and a justice system that needs to be improved. Collene's unthinkable "Justice System Education" is not one to be envied. She and her husband of 58 years, Gary, are among the Nation's hardest hit crime victims. Their only son, Scott, 27, became missing in 1982. In 1988, prior to the completion of the trials for their Son's murder, Collene's only sibling, auto racing legend, Mickey Thompson and his wife, Trudy, were brutally shot to death as they were leaving their home for work. In 2001, nearly 14 years later, an arrest was made for the double homicides of Mickey and Trudy Thompson. The enormous pain for the Campbell family has not subsided after enduring the three murders and the continuing long court battles. Even with all of these horrific tragedies, Collene has remained a tireless champion for justice and victims' rights.

Craig Scott
Craig Scott

Craig Scott was at the scene of the worst high school shooting in U.S. history at Columbine High School. Craig was in the school library where ten classmates were killed and over twenty wounded. After witnessing two of his friends murdered next to him, Craig led a group of students out of the school. Later that day, he would discover that his sister, Rachel Joy Scott, was the first to be killed. Craig has had numerous appearances on such shows as Oprah, Today Show, Good Morning America, Dateline, 20/20, MSNBC, CNN and many others. He has spoken to over a million people. Craig is also an up and coming filmmaker. His ultimate goal is to tell stories that inspire. Seeing how media impacts teenagers and learning that the two shooters at Columbine were deeply impacted by violent movies, Craig wants to positively affect audiences with stories of ennobling characters.

David Fitzsimmons
David FitzsimmonsDavid Fitzsimmons has become an award-winning editorial cartoonist at the Arizona Daily Star. A Pulitzer Prize finalist in 1988, Fitz has been judged by the Arizona Press Club to be the best political cartoonist in the state for the past three years in a row.

While continuing to draw a daily edit cartoon for the Star, Fitz has also developed a public speaking career, using topical humor and quick sketches to entertain audiences throughout Southern Arizona. In high demand for lectures, charity events, banquets and fundraisers, Fitz has entertained thousands of Tucsonans over the last 20 years with his quick wit and quick sketch shows. Part performer, part caricaturist, part satirist, part clown, and part teacher, he has become a Tucson icon with pen in hand. His presentations have been described as "Dennis Miller Meets Pictionary," and Fitz has headlined at Laffs Comedy Club and opened for Mark Russell.
