You can make a national difference in victims' issues!

NOVA’s Conference Roundtables will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2008, from 2-4 p.m. and will provide you the opportunity to identify key challenges and “gaps” in victims’ rights and services. For a complete explanation of the background and concept of the Roundtables, read this document.

There will be six Roundtables, three of which have frameworks ready for consideration and three which are still in development:
  1. Victims' Rights - View the Victims' Rights Framework Document
  2. Public Awareness - View the Public Awareness Document
  3. Funding and Financial Assistance - View the Funding Document
  4. Victims' Services and Assistance - View the Victim Services and Assistance Framework for Discussion Document
  5. Mental Health and Substance Abuse
  6. Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification - View the SAVIN Document
Expected outcomes of these roundtables will include:
  • Communication on contemporary, relevant issues
  • Collaboration among allied professionals in the field
  • Action Plans that define the issues and direction to be taken

Download the information and come prepared to engage other professionals in the field so that we can put our collective intelligence to work on the challenges and gaps to victims' rights and services.

Your input and ideas make a difference so please use our Contact Us form to give us feedback.
